  • Alejandro de la Joya

    CEO

    He is a civil engineer who joined the company in 1991. He has developed his career in Spain, Morocco, Italy and Portugal, and later as Director for Poland (Budimex). In 2005 he occupied the roles of Foreign Business Director, until 2008 when he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Ferrovial Agroman. In November 2018 was appointed CEO of Cintra.

  • Nicolás Rubio

    Head of Operations

    Civil Engineer by the Polytechnic University of Madrid, in 1987 he joined Ferrovial construction. In 1998 he moved to Cintra as Head of Business Development and Technical Department. In 2009 he was appointed Head of USA and in 2016 Global Head of Operations.

    Quality of service and efficiency of operations are our priorities. Quality of service is the basis for attracting customers and building loyalty. Efficiency is the ultimate justification of our business, the key tool to grow while providing value to our shareholders.
  • Francisco Clemente

    CFO

    Economic Science graduate from the Complutense University of Madrid and MBA from the IE Business School, he joined Ferrovial in 1987. He was appointed Head of Project Finance of Ferrovial in 1991. He became the Chief Financial Officer of Cintra in 2002.

    In the next future Cintra’s finance function will respond to two fundamental challenges. We must adapt our systems and our management to a new digital reality through innovation, and continue to be an essential support to our portfolio grow of assets based on our project finance techniques.
  • Miguel Ángel Sagaz Quesada

    Head of Legal Counseling

    A graduate in Law from the Complutense University in Madrid, he obtained a Master's degree in Legal and Tax Affairs in Construction and Real Estate Companies from the Technical University of Madrid and completed the Senior Management Program (PDG) at IESE Business School. Miguel Angel joined Ferrovial Agroman's Litigation and Legal Department in 1999 and has been the company's Head of International Legal Affairs since 2001. In February 2019 was appointed Head of Legal Counseling of Cintra.

    The main function of the Legal Department is to study and analyse the legal risks inherent in the projects in which we participate, and to collaborate in achieving the required profitability, all within the framework of the currently applicable legislation.
  • Carlos Ugarte

    Head of Corporate and Business Development

    Economist from University of Chile, MBA and MSBA from University of Southern California. He joined Cintra in 1998 as CFO of Cintra Chile. He was appointed Head of Development NA in 2006 and Global Head of Business Development in 2010. He started his PPP career in the Treasury Ministry of Chile in 1986.

    We often face complex projects of questionable profitability. But the creativity and perseverance of our teams succeed in materializing these projects in spite of their apparent impossibility.
  • Carlos Ramírez Belaustegui

    Head of Financial Analysis

    Economics and Business Sciences graduate from the Pontificia Comillas University-ICADE and PDD from IESE, he joined Cintra in 1998. He was appointed Head of the Financial Analysis Department in the Corporate and Business Development Division in 2003. He became Head of Financial Analysis in in 2013.

    Our broad portfolio of concessions is an unrivaled source of value creation options that we identify and quantify from our Division. The study of new investments allows us to find solutions that maximize our competitiveness, minimize risks and achieve the rates of return required by our shareholders.
  • Iván González García

    Head of Human Resources & Communication

    Ivan holds an undergraduate degree in Political Science and Sociology, as well as a Masters in Human Resources Management (ESIC) and a Management Development Program (IESE Business School). He joined Ferrovial in 1998, where he held several diverse positions within the Human Resources Corporate Department. Since July 2008, Ivan has been the Human Resources and Communications Director at Cintra.

  • José Ángel Tamariz

    Head of Europe and New Markets & Asset Management Director

    Civil Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, he joined Cintra in 1999. Since then, he has held several positions such as Head of Development at Cintra Aparcamientos and Head of Ireland. He became Head of Canada and CEO of 407 ETR in 2009, Head of Europe and New Markets in 2017 and Asset Management Director in 2018 to direct the Cintra Global and Cintra Infrastructure offices, located in Nederland.

    With more than 50 years of experience in the infrastructure management business, Cintra is in the best position to offer innovative solutions to congestion problems, improving users mobility in key areas of Europe, North and South America and Australia.
  • Belén Marcos Cortés

    Head of USA

    Civil Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Valencia and Master in Transport Infrastructures from the École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées of Paris, she joined Cintra in 1999. She was named CEO of NTE in 2009, CEO of Dallas Highways (NTE, LBJ and NTE 35W) in 2015 and Head of Cintra US in 2016.

    The aim of the USA Division is to develop highly complex projects with higher capacity to create value to shareholders, contributing to the economic development of areas where it operates, positioning Cintra as a leader in creating solutions to congestion problems.
  • Andrés Sacristán

    Head of Canada

    Civil Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, he joined Cintra in 2001. Since then, he has held several positions in the car parks and highways divisions. He was named Head of Europe and New Markets in 2013. Since 2017, he is Head of Canada and CEO of 407 ETR.

    407 ETR is the quintessential toll road project in the world, trailblazing in technology leadership, excellence in customer service and community engagement. Cintra has an excellent platform to keep growing in Canada with new P3 projects such as the two 407 extensions.
