Via Do Infante volunteers built and donated bicycles to Casa de Santa Isabel de Faro
Collaborating as a corporate volunteer and creating team spirit at the same time is possible. This was demonstrated by Via do Infante volunteering employees past december 7th, by donating bicycles to Casa de Santa Isabel de Faro, a shelter house for children and young women, between 3-18 years old, deprived from a right familiar environment, providing them with adequate conditions and personalized support for successful social integration.
Professionals from the portuguese highway participated in a treasure hunt of the components needed to build the bikes in the city center of Faro. Thanks to their collaboration and teamwork, they were able to find the components and, once the bicycles were ready, they went to the institution to deliver them.
The result of this initiative has been extraordinary. In addition to empower the team spirit and generate a strong sense of belonging, it was possible to fulfill some people dreams.
